SeedEye is a system that allows for the automatic calibration and monitoring of dispensed seed amounts during sowing.
However, SeedEye is not a singulation system and the dispensed seed amount can therefore vary by several percentage points up or down during sowing.
In order to achieve the best results, the seed that is used must have been thoroughly washed.
Husks and other waste matter can be registered by the system as kernels and can therefore reduce the actual amount of kernels sown per square metre in relation to the amount that has been input into the system.
The seed must be of normal size and shape. The lowest possible Thousand Grain Weight for rapeseed is 4.2 g and 120 g for peas.
In order to achieve the best results, it is necessary to use the recommended machine settings for fan speed and scale value of the seed meter.
