6.7 Machine geometry

Figure 1.

Important

Incorrectly entered values can result in incorrect positioning in Task Control.

This is where information is entered regarding the geometric location of the drill in relation to the tractor

  1. Offset A = Distance between the hitching point and the ground contact point, e.g. gauge wheels. Expressed in mm.

  2. Offset B = Compensation for any canting. If the machine is pulling in one direction or if it is offset to one side. Expressed in mm.

    Note

Offset is indicated by a positive value in the direction of travel. If the application point is located behind the gauge wheels, a negative value is set

  3. Connector = Type of coupling device. Three point linkage or hitch.

  4. Section offset D = Distance between the ground contact point and the application point. This value together with the value in the field Offset A is the same as the distance between the connecting device and the application point.

  5. Section offset E = Distance between the ground contact point and the application point. This value together with the value in the field Offset A is the same as the distance between the connecting device and the application point.
