10.8 Seed depth IDC
The IDC function can only be activated when the machine is in work position, i.e. when the machine is feeding out. The button is white when it can be activated. If the button is grey, the function cannot be activated.
Activate the IDC function by pressing
the 
button so that the green symbol is displayed.
On the home screen, the 
symbol is shown in the field that indicates
sowing depth. The position of the lifting ram can now be fine-tuned
with the tractor’s hydraulic lever for raising and lowering. IDC is
switched off automatically after a certain period of time. The button
shows a white symbol and the hydraulic lever returns to normal raising
and lowering function. It is also possible to switch off IDC manually
by pressing the button again.
When the IDC function is switched off, the new drilling depth setting is saved automatically.
Settings for IDC are entered in the menu 7.5 Interactive Depth Control, IDC. Calibration of height levels and programming of activation time are carried out in the menu for calibration of IDC. See 7.5.1 Calibration of IDC – the function.
