7.1.1 Calibration

  1. Specify the required seed application rate.

  2. Set the required percentage increase/decrease of feed output in the variable rate field.

  3. Fit the calibration bag.

  4. Fill the feed system.

  5. Empty the calibration bag and refit it.

  6. Select the calibration button and hold this button down until the right amount of seed has been fed into the calibration bag.

The pulses from the seed feed are calculated alongside the pulse symbol.

  7. Weigh the contents of the calibration bag.

  8. State the weight of the content in the designated field.

The number of pulses is calculated.

  9. The values are saved without having to be confirmed.

Important

The calibration result becomes the baseline value. Always check the actual feed rate on the field. If necessary correct the pulses/kg. Example: If the actual sown amount is 10% too low, increase the pulses/kg by 10%. Note the set sown amount, pulses/kg and the actual sown amount for future use.
