21. Seed feed rotation LH

If the metering units do not move:

Check that the toothed coupling between the hydraulic motor and the feed shaft is in the correct position and intact.

If the alarm appears although the seed meters:

Check the alert time that has been programmed.

Check the sensor. The sensor is located in the tramline coupling:

Check connections and connectors to the tramline coupling.

The sensor in the coupling could be defective.

The coupling could be defective. Check that the roller in the coupling is rotating with the feed shaft. The roller should rotate when tramlining is off.

22. Seed feed rotation RH

If the metering units do not move:

The sensor in the coupling could be defective.

The coupling could be defective. Check that the roller in the coupling is rotating with the feed shaft. The roller should rotate when tramlining is off.

31. Seed feed BioDrill Rotation LH

If BioDrill is not in use:

Turn off the alarm function. Go to the programming menu on the control unit and switch off BioDrill.

If the metering units do not move:

Check that the toothed coupling between the hydraulic motor and the feed shaft is in the correct position and intact.

If the alarm appears although the seed meters:

Check the alert time that has been programmed.

Check the cables, contacts and connection.

Check the operation of the sensor. The sensor LED should light when the toothed plate passes. The distance between the sensor and the pulse disc must be 1–2 mm. Adjust if necessary. An illuminated diode is no guarantee that the sensor is working properly.

Check the condition and installation of the toothed plate.

32. Seed feed, BioDrill rotation RH

If BioDrill is not in use:

33. Seed feed, BioDrill rotation LH and RH

This alarm is triggered if the left and right halves of the machine emit alarms at the same time.

Check the seed level in the hopper.

If there is seed in the hopper:

Adjust the sensitivity of the sensor.

Check the sensor’s cable, contacts and connections.

Check that the sensor is not dirty or damp. Wipe the sensor clean with a dry cloth.

The sensor may be defective.

70. 70 Low level, grass (BioDrill)

101. Voltage low, WorkStation 1

Inspect the connections and connectors of the intermediate cable. The functions of the hydraulic system solenoid valves, etc. may cease to work.

Voltage to WS1 too low:

If the machine has a WS2, check the connection to WS2.

111. Voltage low, WorkStation 2

Voltage to WS2 too low:

Inspect the connections and connectors of the intermediate cable. The functions of the hydraulic system solenoid valves, etc. may cease to work.

181. Tramlining LH

Check the wiring, connectors and connections of the sensor.

No signal for tramlining:

Check the sensor.

Tramlining active:

Check the connection.

190. No speed

No speed is displayed despite the machine being lowered to drilling position and driven forwards:

Check the radar setting.

Check that the radar connection cables are not damaged.

200 Feed stop

The level for Low-lift or lowering stop has not been reached within the preset time limit. Time limit 10 seconds.

210 Drilling depth (applies to machines with LLS only)

The machine does not reach the programmed drilling depth when lowering for drilling.

221. WorkStation 1 not connected

If Gateway loses contact with WorkStation 1 during operation:

Check the cabling between Gateway and WorkStation.

Check that the cable is not trapped or otherwise damaged.

Check the condition of the connectors.

If the machine has a WS2 —check the connector on WS2

231. WorkStation 2 not connected

If Gateway loses contact with WorkStation 1 during operation:

270. Interruption to communication

For some unknown reason Gateway has lost communication with the terminal, e.g. if the terminal has been switched off or the iPad has been out of Wi-Fi range. Acknowledge the alarm in the alarms menu. Feed stops.

If the fault recurs.

Check the cabling for supply voltage to the terminal and the cabling between Gateway and the terminal.

If the iPad is not communicating with the dock, check whether Bluetooth is enabled.

281. Rotation guard, fertiliser LH

If the metering units do not move:

Check connections and connectors to the tramline coupling.

If the alarm appears despite the metering units rotating:

Check the sensor. The sensor is located in the tramline coupling, could be defective.

Check that the roller in the coupling is rotating with the feed shaft. The roller should rotate when tramlining is off.
